As shown below, this receiver has lost it's top cover, we don't have it. The receiver is in otherwise fair cosmetic condition, complete, and appears functional. The local oscillator is set to 8.58GHz, and the IF unit operates at 60MHz, hence the unit input frequency is 8.64GHz. There is a video demodulator module fitted, and two audio demodulators, one tuned to 7.02MHz, and the other to 9.4MHz. The construction method makes servicing and/or modification extremely simple.
Lots of interesting and valuable parts inside, including the local oscillator source, amplifiers, a connectorised microwave mixer, filters, isolators, N-SMA adaptor, SMA and SMB cables, DC-DC converter and a.c. power supply, etc etc. But it seems a shame to strip it down?
